Sailing Scotland (July 5th to July 19th)

Boat: Fidelio (Ovni 43, retractable keel/rudder)
Crew Needed: 1 additional crew member

Crew
Our core crew includes experienced sailors from Dutch and Zurich sailing clubs. English is the main language. Skippers: Alexey & Stephen.

Setup
We'll have two boats: one with 6–7 people, and another with 4. Both sail independently but coordinate on anchorages, marinas, and joint activities (e.g., hikes, dinners, distillery tours).

Sailing Area
The west coast of Scotland offers challenging conditions with tidal currents, narrow straits, and weather-dependent routes—ideal for honing sailing and passage-planning skills.

Sailing Details
Conditions: July offers 10–15 kt winds, highs of 18°C, and lows of 11°C.
Stays: Expect 50–70% of nights at anchor, with the rest in marinas. Cooking onboard or ashore will be common.

Adventure Highlights
Stunning Hebrides scenery: turquoise waters, white sand beaches, puffins, cliffs.
Immersive culture: Gaelic-speaking communities, historical towns.
Whiskey distillery visits.
