ZLC Distance Race (Distanzfahrt)

This is the fifth race in the ZLC series for Summer 2023, a series of "longer" format races on the Zürichsee.

These races are a lot of fun, and you learn loads about sailing, racing, and how to keep the boat moving, usually with a bbq or drinks at the sailing club that organised the event.

There are 5 races (Acts) in the series, and ZISC is planning to have a boat in as many as possible of the series.

We will be racing J70's, so we will have 4 on board each boat, so with two or three boats up to 12 ZISC members taking part.

ZISC took part last year in the series, and although we weren't last, there was possibly some room for improvement!  

No experience necessary. We will have a mixed crew on board. Male, female, experienced and less experienced.

(Sign up here doesn't guarantee a spot in this race, we need to have the right mix of experience and less experience, but we'll try to make sure everyone that wants to take part has a place in the series.) 

We will share the cost of the boat (roughly 300.- for the day) and for the regatta registration (60.-).
